Snowbasin Lodging

Snowbasin lodging inventory consists entirely of off-mountain properties.  There is currently no slopeside lodging at the resort.  The relative lack of development, similar to Powder Mountain, has resulted in Snowbasin being less crowded than most northern Utah ski areas.  The quality of the day lodges and lift service at Snowbasin makes up for the drive to and from the mountain.  No expense was spared readying Snowbasin for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics!

The closest lodging to Snowbasin is in Huntsville, about a 10-15 minute drive under normal road conditions.  Huntsville also has a few restaurants.  The majority of Snowbasin visitors stay in Eden, about 20-25 minutes away.  Eden has more lodging properties and restaurants, a grocery store, and a few shops.

Scheduled shuttle service to Snowbasin is by public bus, which stops in Ogden and at Lakeside condos.  Because there is no public parking at Lakeside, this stop is accessible only to guests staying at the property.  There is a charge to ride the shuttle.
