Though ski-in ski-out lodging at Powder Mountain is limited, prices are reasonable in comparison to on-mountain properties at most ski areas.
Visitors unfamiliar with Powder Mountain should know that on-mountain dining and shopping are limited to that at the ski area. There is no village, so food service is available only during hours of lift operation. The small rental shop has limited inventory, and no groceries. For this reason, the majority of guests staying at on-mountain properties decide to rent a car–allowing for flexibility to go down to the valley to shop or dine.
Since Powder Mountain Road has a fairly steep grade, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended for guests staying in ski-in ski-out lodging–and required for those staying at Powder Ridge Village. Airport shuttle service is available, and drivers will make a shopping stop en route for an extra fee.
Columbine Inn is located adjacent to the main Timberline Lodge at Powder Mountain. 2 and 3 bedroom condos, and hotel rooms with kitchenette, are available. More info and photos.
Powder Ridge Village is a timeshare condo at the top of Powder Mountain with 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units and unique amenities, including an indoor pool. More info and photos.
